With Intelligent Document Capture, the DS9300 Series can turn prescriptions, passports, checks and other A6 or smaller documents into clear and easy-to-read electronic images — the smart software automatically corrects lighting issues and more to ensure optimum document clarity. There’s no need to locate and scan documents on a separate scanner, enabling faster checkout and a better customer experience at the POS.

Automatically deactivate anti-theft tags

Support for Checkpoint Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) eliminates a step at the POS for faster checkout — a single pass in front of the DS9300 Series captures barcodes and deactivates tags.

Capture multiple barcodes with one press of the scan trigger

With Multi-Code Data Formatting (MDF), the DS9300 Series can capture multiple barcodes with a single scan and transmit only the barcodes you need, in the order your application expects.

Single out one barcode from many

With Zebra’s Preferred Symbol, the DS9300 Series can capture and output only the preferred barcode, so associates no longer have to waste time physically covering nearby barcodes before scanning.

Ensure feedback is always visible and audible

You can adjust the volume, frequency and duration of the beeper to ensure your associates can hear the tone that signals a successful scan. And the bright green “good decode” LED is visible no matter where your associates are standing — in front of or behind the scanner.

Drops, dust and spills — no problem

The DS9300 Series is built to handle 5 ft./1.5 m drops to concrete and 1,000 consecutive 1.5 ft./0.5 m tumbles, ready to survive the knocks and bumps that can happen in the real-world. And spills and dust won’t slow the DS9300 Series down. Thanks to IP52 sealing and a patent-pending opto-mechanical layout that includes a concealed beeper hole with elevated circuitry and cable connector, even the base is spill proof.
