0.05mm X 76mm X 1.25 Metres Precision Brand Shim Roll Blue Tempered Spring Steel

Blue Tempered Shim is made from a high carbon 1095 hardened and tempered spring steel. Precision Brand® is the only manufacturer to offer Branded® shim.

Each blue tempered shim has everything the user needs to know clearly marked right on the shim: material type, material thickness, and lot # for full traceability.

Blue tempered shim is used for various types of coiled and flat springs such as those used in electrical assemblies and steel rules. Material is preferred by tool and die makers for templates and shim applications where toughness and high fatique strength are required.

Each roll measures 76mm wide by 1.25m long. Blue tempered shims are available in other variants as well, with thickness from .002" to .007", and thickness from 0.05mm to 0.15mm.
