LOCTITE® 243 is a blue, general-purpose threadlocker that provides medium-strength locking performance. It is suitable for use on all types of metals, including passive substrates such as stainless steel, aluminium, and plated surfaces, without requiring a primer. It also cures effectively on fasteners coated with anti-corrosion fluids and residual oils, eliminating the need for thorough pre-cleaning.
