• Crepe bandage is used to provide light support for minor sprains and strains. Sprains, strains and muscle bruises can be treated with a pressure dressing and direct cold application as a form of first aid immediately after the injury occurs. Crepe bandage can also be used to hold a sterile dressing in place over a wound under pressure until medical attention is obtained.
• Caution: Take care not to unduly restrict circulation beyond point where bandage is applied.
