Stainless Steel Shim is made from a full hard, cold rolled, 304 stainless steel. It is widely used in applications where corrosion resistance is required.

Used in conventional power plants, nuclear plants, oil and gas refineries, and desalinization projects. Each roll measures 6″ wide by 50″ long, with other sizes available. 304 Stainless Steel Shim Stock is widely used in the following applications: tool and die set up; alignment; new machine assembly; machine repair and maintenance; mounting of motors, pumps and other machines; short run and prototype work; along with a variety of other industrial uses.

Shim Rolls can be cut to any size or design you need for effective alignment. Thinner sheets can be cut by hand using a shim cutter. Shim sheets thicker than .008" can be cut using wire EDM, water jet or laser.
