Iwata brass shim tape is made from a half hard, cold rolled, C2680 / C2801 brass. This material is widely used in applications where corrosion resistance is required.

Shown here are shim tapes 0.02mm thick available in widths ranging from 10mm to 100mm. Every roll measures 1 metre long.

Used in conventional power plants, nuclear plants, oil and gas refineries, and desalinization projects. Shim stock is widely used in the following applications: tool and die set up; alignment; new machine assembly; machine repair and maintenance; mounting of motors, pumps and other machines; short run and prototype work; along with a variety of other industrial uses.
