The intrinsically safe SM1P Series Cabled & Bluetooth communication headsets simultaneously combine speech enhancement with noise suppression. This allows them to deliver a high noise communications and hearing protection solution by recognizing the different properties of speech and background noise. The Sensear SENS® system enables users to remain aware of their surroundings, communicate in noisy environments and protect their hearing from harmful noise.
The headset is IECEx certified for zone 0 (gas) and M1 (mining) hazardous areas. An extensive range of radio adapters ensures compatibility with most 2 way Radio on the market. The headset also features Bluetooth connectivity for mobile device support using the HSP (headset), HFP (hands-free) and A2DP (advanced audio distribution) profiles for flexibility, ease of use and high quality audio streaming. VOX (voice operated transmission) and PTT (push-to-talk) functions enable hands-free operation and communication with a wide variety of radios and smartphones.
