They come in various sizes, but the most common size is A4 plus, which fits standard A4 size paper.

This is a MDF clipboard (Medium Density Fibre-board) of A4+ size in 5 different colours (225mm x 315mm - Portrait Mode).
The thickness of the board is about 3mm, and it is designed with a loaded spring clip and retractable steel hook at top of board for hanging purpose. The spring and metal part are chrome-plated to a fine finish. This is a portrait size clipboard with rounded corners. There are a total of five colours available. Built quality is very good too. Each individual board is shrink-wrapped.
