The patented Microcapper MCF-13 automates the process of attaching screw caps to microtubes in laboratories. It improves lab productivity, occupational health and safety, and process integrity.
The MCF-13 ensures consistent tightening of caps to prevent leakage during transportation. It reduces operator hand fatigue and eliminates the tedious task of hand capping, which can lead to conditions like carpal tunnel syndrome.
Designed for 13mm tubes commonly used in labs for sample preparation and processing, the MCF-13 can be customized for different cap, vial, and tube sizes. It is a compact bench-top device with a portable design.
Operating the MCF-13 requires minimal training as caps are poured into a feeder and capping is done by inserting a microtube into the tube holder, pushing it to the capping position, and then lowering it with the attached cap.
