The SG550X-24 550X Series Managed Switch from Cisco creates a high-performance network with up to 24 systems by offering Gigabit Ethernet connections, 10 Gigabit uplinks, and stacking capabilities. The Cisco 550X switch features true stacking that lets you configure, manage, and troubleshoot multiple physical switches as a single device. So current RJ45 layouts and future single-mode/multimode paths can be supported, Cisco has designed the 10 Gigabit uplinks to work with Ethernet and fiber connections. Moreover, link aggregation along the stacking path provides more bandwidth for demanding applications.

By coming armed with Gigabit and 10 Gigabit bandwidths, the 550X series switch has a 95.23 Mpps transfer rate and a 128 Gb/s switching capacity. To help in configuration and speed of deployment, intelligence Auto Smart ports on the switch can automatically detect a connected network device as well as configure the optimal security, quality of service (QoS), and availability for the device.
