3M 2179CS series is a versatile closure system for protecting fiber optic splices. The 2179CS closure is economical closure which is available in one size, from one stock, in a kit that includes all the components required for quick and easy installation. The 3M 2179CS closure is an IP68 enclosure system which can organize and protect fiber optic splices in the outside plant and inside buildings for up to 48 single fiber optic splices
