The WonderGliss coating that is baked into the ceramic doesn‘t give grime a chance: dirt and limescale cannot secure a hold on the smooth surface, so residue runs off more easily with the water. Sanitary ceramics featuring WonderGliss stay smooth and clean for longer and are thus extremely easy to clean. All it takes is a soft cloth and mild cleaning agent.
Starck 3 ceramics in combination with L-Cube furniture means two classic forms put together to a unit that is versatile. Whether in a big family bathroom or in a small powder room – this combination is always a good choice.
Many a design hit has proven nothing but a fashionable mistake in the long- term. In many years of practical application, the Starck 3 range has proven just how successful and timelessly modern its sleek, minimalist design really is – great sustainability by Philippe Starck and Duravit. The Starck 3 washbasin derives its distinctive character from the basic rectangular shape, an all-round rim and a low back panel.
In contrast to semi-circular washbasins of comparable size, the rectangular shape offers a wider variety of space-saving sizes.
The Compact version saves even more space: the washbasins have a shorter projection but are the same width 21 5/8" (550 mm) and 23 5/8" (600 mm).
The Starck 3 built-in washbasins offer great advantages in terms of both form and function: materials such as stone, wood or other finishes are highly attractive, there are large storage areas and maximum use is made of all the available space. These washbasins are also ideal for public and semi-public areas.
Possible variants include countertop basins, with and without a tap hole, as well as semi-recessed basins.
The built-in washbasin can now be inserted into a Duravit wooden console from below: the transition from the ceramic to the wooden surface both looks and feels seamless – a particularly attractive feature when contrasted with dark woods. As there are no joins whatsoever, cleaning the surface couldn’t be easier.
